<p>The last time I took the SAT i got a 2000 (CR 720, M 670, W 610) and so Im pretty sure I want to retake it in the fall. I’m aiming for UCSD next year so when should I retake it: Oct or Dec (NOVEMBER IS FOR SAT LANG TEST)!</p>

<p>It all depends on you are you plans. Disregard those myths about excruciatingly harsh curves on certain test dates, they’re vain!
Just start preparing as soon as you can and decide with respect to your plans.
If you’re going for ED/EA, for instance, October would be your only shot.</p>

Also UC’s deadline is Dec. so is it a better idea to take it Oct or just Dec?</p>
<p>Oct. And a 2000 is good enough to get into UCSD. According to their website, you have about a 60% chance of admission with anything > 1800.</p>
