<p>While it was easier in the fall, the stern curve creates problems. Since it’s easier, you can expect more of your classmates to do better and thus, in order to land an A, you have to do a spectacular job.</p>
<p>I got a 95%, 99% on the final, and I still got a B+… :(</p>
<p>Well, that sounds like the Texts & Ideas and Writing the Essay classes S took. High grades did not mean an A or A- given the tough curves. There is no grade inflation at NYU (at least for some core classes).</p>
