<p>When should I really be serious about studying for the SAT’s?
Currently, I am a sophmore, I don’t really have time to study for the SAT’s during the school year… 2 months of summer is serious insuffice.

I’m a soph too… studied like 5 months (got a 2000+ first try). So, it depends on what score you start with on practice tests and where you want to go with it.</p>

Random fact: Sophomore is the only term in High School Years that spells ‘homo’. If you wear a shirt that says sophomore and then wear a jacket/hoodie on top of it… it’s quite an experience (I did that).</p>

2300 is not a realistic goal right now, but it’s definitely not impossible. You have almost a year to bring it up.
Get the CollegeBoard book, etc.
I even recommend joining an SAT class. It’ll definitely be helpful for you.</p>
