When to expect interviews?

<p>If I submit my applications to private schools on January 1st, when can I generally expect interviews to be? </p>

<p>Depends. It’s very possible that you may not be contacted at all. Just depends on the availability of interviewers. It would also help if you named the college in question</p>

<p>I’m applying to Yale, Princeton, Stanford, Brown, and Rice. I also live in SoCal.</p>

<p>For the three Ivies, you may or may not get called whatsoever – it’s just dependent on the volunteers. It’s all rather informal so you could get one call this week, another at the end of Feb or none at all. I don’t know how Stanford or Rice does it. I imagine quite the same.</p>
