When to take NEW SAT and ACT - Last time

My DS is in junior year (GA) and taking 5 APs (including Calculus AB/BC) and 2 IB HLs. His current GPA is 4 out of 4 and Weighted GPA is 4.33 out of 5 as of now. His collage preference is Georgia Tech (Early Action).

Following are his scores in SAT, ACT and PSAT

He is taking test on February 27th (Make up). He didn’t attend any PREP classes except the free courses and tests available online, school and in public libraries.

We are planning to take one time each the redesigned SAT and ACT, please suggest me when is the best time to take new Sat and ACT. Thanks in advance.

Does he plan to spend more time prepping with books? Does his school administer one of these tests? If not, he may as well take them in June after schools is out.

He already has the scores needed for Georgia Tech, is he trying to get a higher score for scholarships?

As he is taking it one last time we want him to well prepared. His school is not administering any test,

Right now he has needed scores but year by year competition to Georgia Tech is rising, so want to be on safe side.

Then he could prep over the summer and take them again in the fall.
