<p>Apparently, the letters have been send with regular mail, so it isn’t that weird you haven’t heard yet, if you are an international! (just read it on the Carleton Facebook Group)</p>

<p>I am also an international student, and I am also waiting. Yesterday, i called Fedex, but they said that package is not yet in the country… I hope it will arrive tomorrow…</p>

<p>Waitlisted. Damn. Quite a surprise. I am 100% sure that I won’t take a spot on WL though. Got a school in Cali already. Perhaps Minnesota’s too cold for me , so Lord sends me to CA instead. haha

I was rather surprised by the way, to receive an e-mail. </p>
<p>I have really abysmal SATI scores, so a waitlist was surprising (2040), but my application was otherwise pretty good I believe!</p>
<p>I got my letter on Saturday, so almost a week ago. I live in the Twin Cities though, if that makes any difference. Oh, I was accepted, by the way! It’s really just a back-up for if I have to stay close to home though. Not that it’s not a good school - it’s an AMAZING school I would love to go there but I want to experience living somewhere else. Minnesota is really an amazing place to live though, the Twin Cities are great (I’m a St. Pauly girl but Minneapolis has better nightlife). Lots of good restaurants, theater, bars, museums, sports games, MUSIC (the Minneapolis local music scene is actually amazing - if you end up going to Carleton buff up on your Atmosphere and Mason Jennings). Good luck to all those still waiting on letters!</p>

<p>Ds can’t go because it conflicts with his sports schedule. He visited last summer, and I hope we can get him back up there sometime next month because he hasn’t been there when school is in session.</p>
