I got the package yesterday morning, but didn’t get a chance to post until now (I live in Costa Rica). Very excited.

Back from spring break and D found out she is on the waitlist.

eyevand: I’m not sure, but I hope so. If it was up to me, I would send in my deposit right now, but financial aid is also a factor, so I have to wait until I hear from everywhere. Either way, I’ve heard that accepted students weekend is a great way to truly get a feel for the school, and since my parents and I decided that I’m only going to visit the schools I’m really interested in, I wanted Carleton to be one of them.

Accepted I was so excited when I saw the bigger envelope.

Going to the admitted students weekend, hopefully the first weekend. Not sure if I will end up going to Carleton, although it is for sure a possibility!

See you there maybe :P

I will be attending the first accepted students weekend. I’m really excited!! :D

CUUSer~~haha

I’m half ****ed and half anxious. I still haven’t gotten it. Would it kill them to send an e-mail, at least, to an international? I don’t have one from FedEx either.

^Completely understand how you feel. I’m getting antsier by the hour. To be honest, I don’t see this as a good sign so far and I’m preparing myself for the worst.

For those of you getting antsy - it’s my understanding that letters do not go out later or earlier based on acceptance or rejection. If your application was complete, the letter went out, but there’s always the possibility that it’s either taking longer than expected to get to your area or that something was maybe lost in the mail. Call on the 1st if you haven’t heard yet.

^Thank you for that. Carleton is one of the last schools I’ll hear back from, which is why I’m particularly anxious. I was planning on calling on the 1st anyway if I hadn’t heard anything. My application was complete in January itself.
