<p>I’m reasonably confident – the head of the department I’ve applied to was on the selection committee for the fellowship I was awarded, and there was a lot of hand-holding throughout the application writing process – but it’s hanging over my head, and I want to get my student visa sorted out ASAP so I can go overseas for a couple of months’ work before I start.</p>
<p>The fellowship people have advised me that I’ll have press interviews and such in March or April, once my unconditional acceptance comes through, so I assume it’ll be by early March… but does anyone know for sure?</p>
