If I mailed my application last wednesday, when can I expect to get my PIN and such?
Also, for rolling admissions to ILR, does everyone hear on Feb. 15 about acceptance?

D is soph in ILR. My d did get her acceptance into ILR around 2/18. My recollection over the past 2 years is that just a small % of kids get accepted during the rolling admission phase. It seemed that an initial batch heard in mid- February. A few more heard in early March maybe another group late March but the majority of kids heard around 4/1 with the rest of the admission decisions. If you follow these boards, you’ll know when admission letters go out. But do not dwell on the Feb. date as most kids will not get acceptance letters until late March even if applying to rolling admission school.

Waitaminute… Cornell ILR is rolling admissions?? I thought the deadline for all cornell schools is jan 1? Will it put me in a disadvantage if I’m submitting my app for ILR a few days before jan 1?

no, only admisison decisions are mailed on a rolling basis… nothings evaluated until after jan 1st

I submitted my ED app on the 29th of Oct. But i didnt get the pin. So i called Cornell on the 15th of November and they gave me my pin.

iamnotabronte - since it’s holiday season, and there are way more RD apps than ED, it’ll probably take more time.
