When will I take the PSAT?

<p>Just as stated, when will I take the PSAT, 10th grade or 11th? By the way, I just wonder if a SAT of 2070 or more than that is an excellent score for a sophomore? I am taking the Oct SAT.</p>

<p>The PSAT is given during October. It counts for National Merit during junior year but it is advised that you take it during sophomore year (for practice), if given the opportunity to do so.</p>

<p>As for the 2070, yes, that is a great score for a rising sophomore. With practice, you will be able to bring it up to your desired score (2200+ is generally considered “excellent”).</p>
