<p>I hope Dean J is not offended. I’ve met her, she is a remarkable ambassador for UVA, a wonderfully talented rep for the college. My assertion was based upon the sheer number of applicants to UVA and other colleges, thanks to the ability of every applicant to “shoot” out apps to dozens of schools. With 22,000+ applications at UVA, working diligently every day (7 days per wk), from November until March, I guess each officer would need to read over 1500 apps.</p>
