<p>We want you to have a physical piece of paper in your hand while you learn the outcome of your University of Rochester decision. This decision is typically a life-changing one, and we do not want to marginalize this moment in any way by sending it through the MyRoc account. </p>
<p>Perhaps this is slowly becoming old-fashioned, but I’m glad that we’re sticking with snail mail. I remember the anticipation, the anxiety, the disappointment, and the blissful moments of elation while I waited for my decision letters to come in. Holding that letter in my hands was one of the most exciting moments in my life. I’m glad our Dean feels that this is still important. </p>
<p>Once you have the official decision letter in your hand, we don’t need to stir up any potential trouble by posting the same redundant decision on your MyRoc account.
