I was accepted 3/15 via email with the MLK scholarship, and don’t see an update on either portals mentioned. People seem to be going crazy over housing, and I don’t want to miss the boat on that, so anyone know when the housing portal will update? Do I need to wait until 4/1 for everything to update?
If you were already accepted, don’t worry. The housing application isn’t due for first years until May 1st, so it will update sometime soon. People are going crazy over the housing portal because they believe the glitch that changes your status from non-renewable undergraduate to freshman indicates that you’re in. For now, just relax and don’t worry about it. Set up your NYU email and Res Life & Housing Services will send emails once the application is open and as the due date nears.
@seeniebeenie should i setup my NYU email even if I’m not entirely sure that I’m going––I’m still waiting on some other schools?
Yeah, there’s no harm in doing so! Setting up your NYU email isn’t binding and it’ll probably get deleted if you choose not to attend.
