When you cancel your AP Test, do you get a 0?

I’m not sure if this is the right place to ask the question…

Long story short, I took IB Biology, and our teacher forced us to take the AP Biology test when we were not prepared. Like everyone else in my class, I didn’t pay attention to the test as I was going to cancel it. I sent a fax to AP services (or whatever) to cancel my test score. But today, I found out that I got a 0 for it on my transcript online. Does this mean my test was not cancelled?

Can you even get a 0 on the test?

Thanks in advance

Well, that only happens if you don’t show up and don’t cancel it.
Perhaps they didn’t get the fax? Cancelling exams wipes it from your list for that year, so it’s as if you never really signed up and paid for it (although you won’t receive a refund)

No I think it shows up as “Canceled by Student” on the report

Oh, well I never cancelled a test before but people I know have and they had nothing, so i don’t know, but anyway, it won’t be a 0

No, you get a -5 and it takes away your highest score which makes that 0.
