When is the most appropriate time to begin preparation for law school?

Well personally I’m going to start sophomore year. I am gonig to focus my remaining electives toward law school and narrow my career path in that direction. I am still trying out other activities such as TAing and working in a lab but those are only to establish that law is something I want to do.

I suppose it depends on what you mean by begining preparation. What lawyers do really boils down (at its most elemental) to thinking, reading, writing, and speaking. You start learning to do some of those things from birth.

Moving ahead a number of years, any college course that requires you to do expositive writing will be good preparation for law school. Anything that increases your knowlege base should make you a better thinker.

If by preparing for law school you mean studying for the LSAT, if you scroll down, you’ll find a thread on that subject.
