I am a white male from texas currently a junior

i have a 5.02 weighted gpa ~3.6-.8 weighted
rank 52/615 top 8%

i have some volunteer hours but not a lot
in elite varsity swimming all years
will get work experience during the summer
will have taken 8-9 ap classes after highschool finishes
rest of classes are honors all years except one regular class in us history
will take act and sat this year
i am hoping to major in business

desired schools:
ut austin- #1 choice
unc
ut dallas
smu
upenn
nyu

questions - Does it really matter where you go for undergrad school, if you are hoping to pursue a masters degree?

what are my best chances and what can i do to improve them?

To my understanding it does matter where you go for your undergrad to an extent. Certain firms have destination schools for recruiting. UT Dallas - yes, ut -austin and SMU - highly likely just get a good act, at least a 30. upenn high reach especially for business, nyu is a reach as well, and so is unc. Ut-austin is better than unc because you are in state. Put up a good test score and you should be fine. Worst comes to worst you can get into TCU (just kidding).
