asian indian from tiny town in TX.

where can i get in thats a good business school for accounting, other than UT. im looking to go to CA or somewhere in the NE. big schhol, public or private. please help. more info if u need it.

You can probably get into the School of Management of Boston University. Big city school. Decent business education. Probably Babson ( not big school and EXCELLENT business school, just a half hour or so out of Boston on a nice campus.. that is REALLY the best school to go to ..), Boston College, nice campus on Boston subway line, easy access to downtown. I hear great alumni help/jobs upon graduation, ( great choice), Bentley would be a safety. A half hour or so out of town. I hear a good school. You can also likely get into U Mass or U vt or U conn etc. etc.

amit77:

UCB/UCLA: Reach (out of state)
UCSD: Slight Reach (out of state)
UCI/UCSB/UCD: Match (out of state)
UCSC/UCR/UCM: Safe Match (out of state)

I think BU would have the best business education in addition to being the best school. BU's students on the average have much higher numbers then either Babson or Bentley, Umass etc... The School of Management is also the most well rounded for business. Babson is too entrepreneurial focused and way too small, Bentley is too technology focused along with lacking the academics and Umass just isn't that well known for business.

If you can get into UT, go there!!

Considering the UT business school is one of the best in the world, AND you're in-state. Things are looking good.

BU requires sat II scores. i have not taken them, and it seems as its too late.

how about umass boston business school?

Try reaching for UCLA or Berkeley, and give USC a shot. IIRC, USC has a very solid business program. I would also give BU a shot if I were you, and Syracuse's business program isn't bad either. Although it's not in the northeast, I would apply to Indiana if I were you. The Kelley (undergrad) school of business is ranked #11 in the U.S, and I think you have a good shot of getting in...although it would help to know your u.w GPA.

BU's School of Management is the best business program in Boston (throw rankings out the window) after MIT and is on par with Boston College's Carroll School. After that comes Bentley and Babson and then Northeastern etc...
