I plan on finishing my 2 year A.A. in computer science at my local community college in FL. This CC has an articulation agreement with all the other public universities in the state. My question is, if I were to do great and maintain something like a 3.9-4.0, as a transfer student would I still have a chance of getting into a university like UF? Or is it that completely out of the question due to my bad HS grades?
With a 3.9 GPA and if you meet all of the transfer requirements, you shouldn’t have a problem getting accepted to UF or any of the other state public universities. UF (and the others) do NOT consider your HS grades. They only ask for your HS transcript to confirm you’ve met the 2 years foreign language requirement.
