I can currently a high school junior, and I want to take a high-school level class during summer, not because I failed, but I want to learn in advance. Does anyone know any places where I can take a class or prepare myself in advance for my senior year?

Some boarding schools - such as Phillips Academy Andover, Phillips Exeter Academy, and Choate Rosemary Hall - have many different classes including intro ones to new subjects. I don’t know what subjects you would be taking senior year, but they have classes like, concepts in calculas, intro to physics, etc.

Many other schools have different summer programs, just do a little research on google.

Concordia Language Villages programs offer month-long high school credit courses in many different languages.

If you don’t want to pay upward of $5000+ to go to those private boarding summer schools, you can first try checking your local high schools in various towns closed to you. There usually are schools that offer remedial classes for people who failed or need to pass some classes in order to graduate. If it is AP level classes, your local community colleges may have the courses you want. Also try smaller private schools in your area and lastly, you can take self paced course online. MIT has free online courses that might work for you or CTY has a lot of online high schools courses that you can take. I am sure there are many other online courses, try googling “homeschool online courses”.

Public school systems usually only offer remedial level classes, and certainly not APs. You can take a CC class for dual credit, if your school allows.

Check your local (as in state) public universities. Most courses there are not so expensive.
