(I’m thinking about starting a Young Libertarian club at my school, would that have any merit on an application?)
I hope to major in some sort of engineering, but I might go medical.

Would it be possible to go to an ivy league school with this? My goal is Notre Dame, but I might shoot higher.

Pretty much anywhere with that ACT score.

That ACT score puts you in about the top 5K taking the test out of about 1.4 million that will take it. Good grades, good test, good EC - you can get in about anywhere. For some reason, some school will reject or waste list you. Just be smart, apply to a a good mix of reach, matches and safeties. If FA and merit scholarships are not issues and you can pay the price of admission, this should not be a problem.

35 ACT will give you a shot anywhere

if you go med, i would suggest stanford, duke, penn. engineering is probably stanford, berkeley, mit, washu, and cornell. cornell/washu would probably be the surest bets.

Even though “surest” bets have a very low acceptance rate (below 20%, and your competitors have similar stats to yours). Make sure you have a safety you are willing to attend.

pretty impressive ACT scores and good GPA. you have a good shot at berkeley, chicago U and bucknell
