<p>I haven’t taken the ACT or Subject test but I plan too and well I was wondering if I have any chances to getting into a UC or even a Private. I do live in West LA so technically I have the 3rd highest SAT score in the school. I want to go to a Private, anywhere in the U.S, but I don’t know if I have a good chance</p>
<p>If you’re a CA resident, you’ll need at least a 3.0 unweighted GPA to apply. You need to convert your grades to the UC system’s scale which means + and - don’t count. So a B- will be worth a B to them, and a C+ is a C to them, etc.</p>
<p>Owning a small business i see as a plus and a job is a plus, but neither your GPA nor your SAT is high which will make it hard to get into good private schools. Getting into a UC is possible, but i suggest trying to raise your gpa and/or sat in the meantime.</p>
<p>I would like to know what college I could possibly get into in Florida. I have a 3.9 weighted with a low SAT score and ACT score. Also I applied August 1st to 4 universities in Florida and I have been wondering why I don’t have an answer yet. Maybe I’m on their waiting list ? I don’t know but I would like an answer to that. If it really counts for something I’m Hispanic so it should help me a little to get into somewhere even though I have a low SAT and ACT. I plan to do computer engineering as my major. Hopefully someone can help me out by answering my question which would be very greatly appreciated.</p>
