<p>How would you like to do some interesting research about the undergraduate schools of college faculty? Select a school. Select a major. Find the faculty listing or website for that major. Tally the undergraduate schools they went to.</p>

<p>If enough people participate, we might see some patterns emerge.</p>

<p>I checked Cornell’s Electrical and Computer Engineering Department. I counted all faculty, including Emeritus and joint appointments. I think I would have excluded visiting faculty if there were any.</p>

<p>Are the schools in your list only where the faculty earned their bachelors? Or, does it include their PhD schools? If it includes their PhD schools, can you indicate which ones were the bachelors schools?</p>
