I’m looking to spend at least four weeks in France or a European, French-speaking country before attending an American school in the fall. I’d love to attend a school where I am attending classes but also getting LOTS of language practice. I’ve taken almost seven years of French in school, so I’m looking to be surrounded by the language.

What are some good French schools? Does anyone have any advice on this sort of thing?

Thanks!

I don’t think any other European countries speak French, unless I’m missing one?

Sure there are: Switzerland, Belgium, Luxemburg are all at least partially Francophone. If youre willing to go a little farther, there are nice programs in north or west africa (Morocco, Senegal, Burkina Faso, etc), though French may not be the language spoken day to day

Parts of Switzerland and Belgium I guess, although almost everyone in Belgium speaks English.
It depends where you want to go, just looking at France. I have relatives near Tolouse, but it’s too rural for decent schools. Just to clarify, do you mean college or high school? Have you looked at programmes which place people into schools like this?

Quebec is Francophone, especially the more north you go.
