This is a new attempt at an earlier post of mine:

So, I’m an 18 year old white male, more or less upper-middle class. I am not rich and most certainly am not snobby. I love music (Modest Mouse, The Mars Volta, Beck, Death Cab for Cutie, Elliott Smith), love movies (The Royal Tenenbaums, I <3 Huckabees, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Requiem for a Dream), love books (Naked Lunch, any Vonnegut, The Brothers Karamazov, A Clockwork Orange, Thus Spake Zarathustra); assuming you know any of that (no one in my high school seems to). I love talking about politics, religion and philosophy, as I enjoy all forms of intellectual discussion.

I am very sociable and enjoy partying and just generally chilling out. I would say that I have great social skills and love meeting new, interesting people. I dont, at all, see myself going to frat parties screaming wheres the keg?!?! with my pink collar popped. I do, however, see myself hanging out at chill parties, watching movies, talking, checking out art exhibits, shows, talking politics over coffee and generally doing anything laid-back or intellectual. I dont fit in well with my high school, simply because no one else cares about the things I do. I want to meet people who do! I want to learn from my peers and be exposed to new things, so I can grow as a person. I DO NOT like elitists who think money makes them better, nor do I like snobs. I want to be totally comfortable at college, with a bunch of friendly, intelligent kids.

It is also a must that the school is in the Northeast.

So, here is my info:

GPA: 92.9 Unweighted 95.6 Weighted
(not sure, but I believe its a 3.9 or 4.0 unweighted and above a 4.0 weighted?)
SAT: 570CR/690M/640W
Top 15% of Student Body
E/Cs: Solid List, lots of community service, Honors Society, etc.
What I would consider a very different, creative essay

Heres a little list I put together:

SUNY Geneseo

Bates College*
Hampshire College
Bard College*
Skidmore College

So based on that essay I just wrote, where do I belong??
