All the universities I’m looking at, I can’t find the application deadlines. The only thing I keep seeing for all of them is August 1st. But I figure that can’t be right because aren’t most deadlines in november?

Also, the core high school classes you need to get into a university, I only have half of them. (I got my ged). Will I have to finish those classes at the college while I’m taking regular college classes? Or can I just not get into a university without all the core classes?

For some non-competitive universities, August 1 may be the actual absolutely last day they’ll accept new students. It usually means no financial aid or campus housing and late registration. They will probably have a priority deadline which is much earlier which means you’ll be on equal footing for FA and so on. As for the GED, I think you’re going to have to contact each university and find out their policies. They requiring you to take a college class to make up for it and not count for your college requirements to just accepting the ged and taking placement tests for classes.
