Lehigh would be worth a look. Undergraduate Entrepreneurship | Lehigh Business
Thanks. I saw somewhat lower numbers than that with a 38% admit rate. Just so I can learn, where did you find that info - and hat’s off to you for doing so. It’s really hard to find numbers on a school or college within a university. I’m seeing him with a 3.6-3.7, including first semester this year, and if he gets his SAT up to 1400 as he hopes, he still might have a shot with holistic review, given his upward trend and other factors.
b4 they went to holistic, they had a webpage with direct admit requirements.
it was a 3.8 - whatever was on the transcript so if weighted was a 4.5, it counted. And a 1370 SAT.
But I’m guessing, even though it’s huge, they’ve got too many apps. They’re the safety for top schools.
They’ve even tightened up internal transfers.
FWIW - Kelley is harder than before, no doubt - and I think they still have a shot. Lots of people try and get caught in some odd “maybe-land” when others have heard one way or another. They ask them to write another essay, which is odd. My advice is if you get to that point, you are better off saying you want to be considered for a different school. IU has honored the request and accepted kids who get to that point to schools other than Kelley.
You really need to do a Chance me and provide a budget.
Plus you need to become “best friends” with your counselor or student advisor. They send the paperwork. They know where their alumni have been admitted in the US. they write the letter about you. They should be familiar with the process.
Every school is different; every school has a different: location, student population, vibe, weather, travel access, college town, athletes, sororities and fraternities, drinking and partying reputations, sports stadiums, etc. you should fit the school and the school should fit you.
Lots of things to do, or NOT, so that lots of schools are different. So do you want the list of the 4000 colleges and universities? Google is your friend.
