Going to post key points as short as possible for now

-24 y/o male
-attended Los Angeles Harbor college for 2 years, left due to thinking i was on academic probation, i was actually not, i was only restricted from registering the next semester due to needing to sign an agreement to do better(D in same math class three times and low gpa), however completed GE’s such as English 1&2, poli sci, speech, a humanities class

-attending El Camino college the last 4 years, initially did not know what major to go into, continued to take more GE classes. Then decided i wanted to major in music after having played guitar for 8 years…did not pan out and stopped after failing music theory 1. Also had a strong passion or electronics and had been taking some electronic courses simultaneously with music classes. These classes i did well in.

------Current situation------

I now have a full time job which i have been at for a year in the electronic field (electronic board assembly) and our hours are from 7-330 and had mostly only been taking night classes which was fine because my electronics classes were only offered in the evening anyway

I am about 1 or 2 classes away from obtaining my A.S in Electronic Technology and have decided i would rather put full potential and transfer into a 4 year and recieve a B.S in Electrical Engineering than settling for an Electronics B.S after doing more research and knowing i would want to do design work.

Unfortunately, i stopped taking math courses when i thought i was going to do music and stopped at the GE requirement. So this semester after a few counselling sessions at both El Camino AND LA Harbor college, i am taking trig and Pre cal
(one at each campus) so i could catch up and enter into Calc as well as all the physics courses that require a calc grade or concurrent enrollment.

As of now, i have not taken anything past pre cal, no college physics required for EE at any UC but i am now determined to complete these pre reqs to be considered. Also my gpa is about a 2.7, but knowing i havent even taken the major pre reqs(calc, physics) i feel i still have a chance to bring that up substantially. Especially being my gpa at El Camino includes the music grades.

--------One of my main questions---------

UCB states all sequential classes must be completed at one college, since i have not started any calc or physics courses it doesn’t apply to my situation, but i did complete both English classes back in fall 08 into spring 09 at Harbor College. Will i be disqualified if i retake my English courses at El Camino to have them “completed at the same college”. Both colleges are in a different city district if that matters.
