Where do YOU like to study on the Davis campus?

For me, I like to go up to the 2nd floor of the library and study in the massive “main reading room”. I also can be found studying in the 24 hr study room. Before school started, I studied inside the ARC study room but didn’t like the setting too much.

I read that the Griffin Lounge in the MU was a really nice place for quiet study, but they tore the place down this year.

Where are some other places on campus that you like to study at?

Pic of the old Griffin Lounge…

where are all the possible good quiet places to study at?

like outside of the typical library, or dorm study lounges, what are other options? (like the griffin lounge)

The Library is pretty cool.

Davis Wiki is god.

I like studying in my dorm’s LRC as well as Shields (usually wearing giant headphones to filter out noise).

Griffin Lounge is still open. I stopped by to catch up on some reading there today. However, it looks like it is shared by various school campus groups that set up shop to advertise their functions. Today, there was a campus movie night group passing out flyers at their tables. But there were still lots of people who use the place to study and sleep.
