my daughter has money held by a relative in the relative’s name for my daughter’s college , but this money has not been dispensed yet. how do I report this in fafsa? there is one candidate spot that says money paid to or recvd by the student from relatives’ but the money was neither paid to nor received by the student.
You don’t report it until received. Some families spend everything the first 3 years and use the relative’s money for the last year, after the last FAFSA/CSS has been filed.
