Where do you see me getting in, selective or highly selective, or lower?

I’m only a sophomore but here’s my resume:
4.3 G.P.A. W
2/110 in class
4 years varsity baseball
3 years key club
4 years NHJS and Honor society
HOBY recipient
5 AP courses
All Honors except Pre-calc
Jewish? If that matters
White
Live in Ohio
No official ACT score

What do you think about my resume?

So have you taken PLAN or PSAT yet?

Yes… Did bad. 18. My teachers and I think it was a fluke, but yea.

I’m not sure how you can have 3-4 years of anything as a sophomore, but what you do have looks great! Keep working hard and find one thing that you can really pour all of your energy into. My greatest regret (I’m currently a junior) is not having found that one thing.

If you must, quit all your current EC’s and take this summer to find that passion. It’ll be a worthy investment for you to figure out what you really want to do rather than to just be swept up by a bunch of disparate EC’s. Colleges love athletes, so if you can do well in basketball, that might just be your thing!

To answer your question, though: highly selective (granted you’re from an excellent high school, you do well on tests, and find that ‘thing’)

I didn’t do well on the practice ACT, would a low ACT effect it?
