<p>The closest places I can think of that are similar to orange county–white, relatively conservative and middle class and up are northern broward county and palm beach (i.e. boca raton etc.) and a few areas around tampa…all in all though, florida is pretty different from california (having lived in both areas).</p>

<p>ponte vedra beach, fl…boca, vero beach, naples…i find most the affluent neighborhoods in the state to be very similar to orange county (the affluent parts of orange county) except of course miami and the dade county area.</p>
