<p>I was denied at Brown, and I just found out that I was admitted at Rice.</p>

<p>I did not, but then again, UChicago had the wrong e-mail address on file.</p>

<p>It was an odd conversation. As I recited my e-mail address, Jerry said “hmm… interesting.” I was thinking to myself, “I do not curse, but this is ****ing crazy!” It is definitely a blood rush.</p>

<p>IMO messed up - I don’t think they would prolong the inevitable if they knew you were rejected.</p>

<p>that makes me feel a bit better. I just hope I get in, I’ve been wanting this ever since I stepped foot into college.</p>

<p>I mean:</p>

<p>ACT: 31
GPA: 3.63 in pretty rigorious classes
EC: Volunteer at a science place, work at NASA!! and alongside 2 uchicago graduates who i got recs from.</p>

<p>I work with Uchicago itself on a science instrument that my project at nasa is working on.</p>

<p>Phi Theta Kappa honors, i race cars for godsake, and my essays were awesome. And I got a recommendation from the chairman of the econ department saying i finshed in the top 5% of the entire classes combined.</p>

<p>Sorry, I am just typing this for some therapy.</p>
