Where should a freshman live at Georgetown?

Freshman dorms: Village C, Darnall, Harbin, and Southwest Quad

College ******* ranks Southwest Quad and Harbin as the two most preferable dorms to live in on campus (http://**************.com/georgetown-university/campus-housing/). However, my campus tour guide mentioned that Village C was the only building with bathrooms in each room.

Where do incoming freshmen plan to live? Where do current students live? What dorm should an incoming student choose (given he or she receives a good lottery number), and why?

As a Freshman your housing is completely random. There are 4 dorms, Harbin, Darnell, Village C, and New South. Talk to anyone on campus where the best place to live is and they will almost always respond with their own dorm. Each has pro and cons but in the end it will be more about the people you live with then where you live. Plus there is nothing you can really do about it anyway.

Agree 100% with SFShoya. As a Freshman, please do not worry about which dorm is better/best,they are all more or less the same.Once you are settled in you will find that you get used to the one you live in and realize that the housing concern is irrelevant. But I guess it’s easier said than done.Every Freshman probably goes through these ‘dorm jitters’.
But believe us,you’ll be fine in any of the dorms.
