Where Should I Apply? (Transfer)

Hey everyone, I know I missed most app due dates for Fall 2015, so I’m thinking to transfer for Spring 2016.

My school is way too Southern and dominated by Greek life. My freshman year is almost over and I still haven’t found my niche. I would love to go to a school in a city like NYC or Boston, but I wouldn’t mind a suburban area either. Here are my stats:

HS GPA: 3.58uw/4.61w
SAT: 2050
ACT: 30
College GPA (predicted by the end of this summer): 3.62
Major: Psychology (pre-med track)

Based on this information, where would be some good places to apply for Spring 2016? (Or Fall 2015 if apps aren’t due too soon).

I think Temple is still accepting transfer applications. You should have no trouble getting in, and Philly is a very exciting city. Temple has D-1 sports, and some Greek life, if you want them, but it’s very, very urban, also. They are good in pre-med, and Philly has great health care and biomedical internship opportunities. Pitt is stronger in sciences; I don’t know whether they are still accepting transfer applications.

I just did the job you should have done for yourself: NYU’s transfer application deadline is April 1, so go for it!
