Just graduated junior year; from MN. Interested in UMN, Madison, and potentially some colleges out East and in Cali.
32 ACT, 3.9 GPA, top 10% of my class, and I could go into more specifics if need be. Where should I apply?
What (if any) are your parents willing to pay for college? What do you want to study?
I’d like to study either stats or maybe something that involves the social sciences. My parents want me to pay for one of the 4 years for undergrad but they are capable of paying all 4 even at an expensive school.
What are your extracurriculars like?

Qualified for State in Knowledge Bowl

Regarding social sciences, more economics/government/public policy or sociology/psychology/anthropology?
Maybe public policy but I’m really not sure
Generally the NESCACs would be strong for public policy and government and would be within your admissions range. For math, several would be particularly good. For statistics, they would tend not to offer a specific major, but you would still be able to take about four stats courses, including some with an interdisciplinary approach such as economic statistics.
You could also look into GW, American, NYU, Dickinson, Holy Cross, HWS, CMC/Pitzer et al.
