Does anybody have any suggestions??? I got a 2050 on my SATs, I have a 4.3 GPA, a 720 on Math 1 SAT IIs, and lots of ECs. I’m interested in studying communications and business. Does anybody have any ideas about what schools would be good for me???

Judging from your post on the Harvard forum, I think the following schools would suit you greatly:

*University of Pittsburgh (EASY admission…you’d get in by breathing)
*Duquesne (again, easy…good communications)
*Rice
*McGill
*I would, as previously mentioned, at least apply to a few ivies if you really want to stretch it. I think the more you apply to, the better of a chance you would be accepted to some of them.

Also, there are so many good communications schools out there. And you have an EXCELLENT sat score, don’t listen to anybody else who says it’s ****. It isn’t, and it’s a very hard score to get, you should be very proud of that accomplishment! (same w/your sat subject test)

So, go with that, but also try usnews.com, and try by specialized major…I think you stand a great chance at some top schools, but don’t take my word for it. there are no guarantees in this world, but i am sure you’ll get into a good school. good luck!

I suggest it because it has majors in both communications and business, both in the same school (Agriculture and Life Sciences, which makes no sense, really, but that’s the way it is). You could easily major in one of the two fields and take electives in the other.
