Where should I apply?

<p>Due to this year’s mediocre admission trends, I pretty much do not know where I should apply? What do you guys suggest as reaches and matches? I am interested in majoring in business admin, econ, buisness econ and hotel admin.</p>

<p>I attend a public magnet school.
GPA Freshmen year UW: 3.4 and 3.0
GPA Sophomore year UW: 3.4 and 3.5
GPA Sophomore year W: 3.7 and 3.8
GPA Junior year UW: 3.17
GPA Junior year W: 3.9</p>

<p>Senior courseload:
APES
AP Govt
AP Econ
English
Either AP Stats or 3rd sem Calc at a Comm. college</p>

<p>SATS: 2200 (800 Math; 700 CR; 720 W - 12 Essay)
Math II: 800 Chem: 750</p>

<p>APs: Euro (4) Taking: Calc BC (self studied), Chem, Music, Human Geography (self studied)</p>

<p>ECs: Student Govt, officer position in clubs, CSF, piano, … nothing too spectacular.</p>

<p>I am, however, working on a research paper in which I’m improving the Logistic Equation. I should get that published before I apply to colleges.</p>

<p>With those stats you can apply pretty much anywhere. Try to get a number of reaches, matches and safeties. Any of the most select U’s or LACs will be a reach due to the low selection rate. What’s your home state? What kind of school would you like to attend - small/large, urban/rural?</p>

<p>other than just applying anywhere, what region in the country would you like to be situated in, east, west, south, southeast, north east, etc.</p>
