Where should I go to get pre-med counseling?

What I mean is, who would know the most about it? (murphy counselors, career center, counselors for my major (phy sci), etc.)

Also, do you guys know if I’m supposed to complete all the pre-med requirements before applying to med school?

I’m pretty sure that all the requirements should be completed. Would you have been able to get into college without taking the SAT or ACT?

^^ That analogy fails. You can certainly get into college without finishing your A-G’s.

Back to the OP: Simple answer… No. You just need to do them before matriculation.

Really? They would allow that? Or does it just hinder your chances then?

^Yeah, I heard some people hold off on biochem until their senior year to avoid it from hurting GPA or something similar.

I think in this case, the only thing it would hurt would be your MCAT scores – obv. taking more related classes (eg. biochem, chem 14cl, etc., phy sci classes), although not necessary for the MCAT, could give you a better MCAT score, which affects med school admissions.

The counselors in Young Hall are great for premed counseling
