Where should I go? UCI vs Washington, sociology but want to change to business, CA resident

I have two schools I am seriously considering for undergraduate right now: I got into University of Washington (UW) and University of California Irvine (UCI) for sociology. I live in Irvine, so the tuition fee is significantly less. However, my parents are willing to pay the out of state tuition in order for me to experience life outside of Irvine.

Obviously, there are not a lot of careers in sociology so I want to transfer majors preferably to something in the business sector. I know finance is not reasonable since I do not go to a top 10 school, so what should I try to do? I can easily transfer into UW for real estate and I know UCI is hard to transfer majors. I like the UW campus a lot, but a good education and secure job after college is more important to me. Any advice, potential majors/careers, on what I should do?

Why can’t you do finance outside of top 10. Every company in America has finance people. You can do finance.
