Thanks in advance!

these replies are so helpful…

Well, you haven’t provided us with a ton of information to base a reply on, but I’d say your stats aren’t too bad. Not Harvard type stuff, but you could get into a pretty decent school. It depends on some other stuff–like, have you taken rigorous classes? Do you have any academic/non-academic talents or particular interests/passions?

Have you poked around some college database-type websites-- Princeton Review, College Board, etc.?

And, of course: What kind of school do you want to go to?

well, I havent really taken that many rigorous class…all just college prep, besides next year where ill take a honors and AP class.
uhh…i like to run?

Ive been looking at Clemson and I really like it

Okay. That’s a good start. All I can advise you to do is to look for other colleges that have what Clemson has that you like. I, like most people on CC, am really not entirely qualified to give college counseling. Maybe you should talk to your high school guidance counselor, too, if you think that would help.

Good luck! :)

Give us an idea of what you might consider majoring in–that would help.

As far as schools similar to Clemson (also what I’d consider matches for you) there is College of Charleston, UNC-Charlotte, and Univ of Georgia. Reach schools would be Univ of Maryland (College Park) (slight reach), and Wake Forest and Virginia Tech (bigger reaches).

For a chance at some scholarship money, consider Miami of Florida, Univ of South Florida, or Univ of Alabama. If you want to go to a good all-black school consider Howard University (Washington, D.C.) or Morehead State (Atlanta, GA).

Good luck.

im thinkin biochemistry, but not 100% sure yet.
