what schools should i look at?
and can i add anything to be a better canidate??

You look fine academically. Where you should look depends on what you want to accomplish.

1) Start reading up on the schools you think you might be interested in. Try to develop a profile that includes size, geography, subjects of interest, culture, …
2) Plan some schools visits over Spring break so you know the difference between a large public, private and LAC. (Visit whatever is nearby.)
3) Have that finance conversation with your folks about what they can afford and what you need to contribute.

Once you’ve narrowed the field a bit, CC can help you with names of schools you may have missed.

Then you have some work to do:

1) Check out the essay prompts on both the common app and the supplements for the schools you may be interested in so you can be thinking about it. Write your essays over the summer when you are under less time pressure.
2) Is ACT of 30 enough for where you want to go or do you need to practice in order to raise it? Would the SAT suit you better? Try it.
3) Make sure you know which teachers you plan to ask for recs and think about what they need to know about you so they can do a good job on your behalf.
4) Start checking out the scholarship possibilities.
