WhEre should i plan on going?

Hey guys, I’m a freshman in highschool and i’m trying to decide on which college i want to go to. I want to major in a business degree( not sure which yet). I kinda had it narrowed down to uva mcyntire or uc berkeley haas but any other suggestions would be great.

So more about me:
I have a Gpa above 4.0(not sure of the exact number)
im taking the highest level classes i can
i live in Va and i’d say Im upper middle classes
i want a high paying career later on(duh ha) and i’d really like to live in CA too

UVA seems like a much more fun place to go to school that it’s hard to imagine paying Berkeley’s high OOS tuition to go there. But it does make sense if you want a career in CA.

you could go to UVA for your undergraduate studies and then go to berkeley for your graduate studies.

Or you can finish school in VA for an affordable cost and move out to CA afterward.

Thanks guys for the replies!
What is the typical GPA and SAT scores for most people who are accpeted into either of these two schools?

Google Common Data Set and the school name. Look in Section C.

Bear in mind that only 7% of undergraduates at Berkeley are from out of state and nearly all of them pay over $50,000 a year. If you’re an A student taking the highest level classes you can, and you’re a VA resident, UVA shouldn’t be a problem. The median SAT there is around 1340, but it’s a little higher than that for out-of-staters and less than that for Virginians.
