Where to apply?

<p>I like to get things out of the way early, if I don’t I procrastinate. Therefore I am trying to get the applications and essays ready for when school starts in September. The only problem is I have no clue where to apply. I will not be able to visit any colleges, which is a disadvantage to me.</p>

<p>GPA: 4.06 weighted. ~3.5 unweighted
Rank: 140/793
SAT: 1250/1820
ACT: taking in fall. i’ll probably get around 29
Senior APs: English, Spanish (I currently have Marine Bio H may switch to AP Bio)
Volunteer: 125 hrs at a day camp
Work: Six flags Great adventure ride ops
ECs: Marching band-(Colorguard)(4 years), Global Warming Awareness Movement, Spanish Honors Society, Joy Winterguard
I have taken to college credit courses so far.</p>

<p>So far the school I want to get into most is University of Pittsburgh. I am applying to:
University of Pittsburgh
Pennsylvania State University
Rutgers University</p>

<p>I don’t know where else to apply. Completely clueless. I don’t know what would be safeties, reaches, or matches. I am in need of help.</p>

<p>Those schools are a good start. </p>

<p>I imagine that Rutgers would be a safety, while Pitt and Penn State would be low matches. </p>

<p>If you like Pitt, you may also like Delaware (I read somewhere that it’s one of the most common schools that Pitt applicants also apply to). </p>

<p>Then how about Fordham for another match? It has a cool intellectual/chill vibe, similar to what can be found at Pitt.</p>

<p>Then maybe Georgetown as a reach? (it kind of, somehow, reminds me of Penn State)</p>
