<p>Buy something you won’t be crying about when you come out of class or your apt and its gone.
$500 is WAY too much.
I would buy something descent & used thru Craigslist.
PS if you see a purple TRECK advertised it was more than likely mine!</p>
<p>I completely agree with xNYer. Also invest in a really good lock and get it registered with UPD!!!</p>
