Where to buy a strong, break-resistant gold necklace?

<p>D has acquired from her aunt a pendant that her (D’s) grandmother used to wear. D would like to wear it but is very worried about the possibility of losing it if the chain it is on happens to break. </p>

<p>Does anyone know where I could buy a necklace that would be unlikely to break? The pendant is gold but the necklace need not be real gold.</p>

<p>The wheat & box style chains are the most durable.
Any jewelry store should carry them, you probably want 14 kt and either 18" or 24" depending on size of pendant.</p>
