Where to find FRIDGE for dorm?

Where would D. find a fridge sized 3.6 cubic ft. max for her dorm room?
The roommate that was to bring this is no longer in the room, so we need to find one quickly.

To purchase Costco,Target,KMart,Best Buy,Sears…or online. Also at many schools you can rent.

Lowes has a nice for with seperate freezer compartment for about $149. Its 3.1 cubic feet

Walmart has a 2.7 cubic feet for just under $100

I would ask around, when I lived on campus I got a small dorm reefer for $20 from a friend of my dad’s who didn’t use it anymore. Or just wait until next May when people are moving out, they practically give them away.

Walmart has a few models for quite cheap.

http://www.lowes.com/lowes/lkn?action=productDetail&productId=176801-2251-FRTC03L3DW&lpage=none

Next May would not work too well!

Ok sounds like a lot of places have them. Anyone find a special deal on them. Last years roommate had a 3.6 cubic ft one and it seemed like the best size (and is the largest school allows)

Costco?..Never thought of that…will check out Lowes …

Geez…last year we had to dump her rug cus we couldnt fit it in the car…I dont know how we will get fridge in there.

Although we are not a member a friend got us into Sam’s club in Houston where we got a great deal on a 3.6 cu fridge. It was actually a GE spacesaver.

How much was it Lauras50?

My husband thought, with tax, it was about $100, but I thought less.

That is good! I just looked online at Sams and saw 3.2 cubic ones…but no larger. Is yours 3.6 for sure? What color is it?

You can have the fridge shipped…folks do that all the time.

That might be kinda pricey though…I think the one I saw was 56 pounds.

Well in today’s market add the weight to your own auto is gonna cost 'ya. I’d order it online and ship it slow or have the sender ship is slow rate. It is a pain to drive them to school.

Target on sale this week, $99 4.3 cubic feet. Stainless steel. Nice. Bought DD a smaller one at Walmart for $42, white. OK, not as nice as the Target one though.

Kat

I think it actually was 3.2, don’t remember exactly, but it was pretty big and S was very happy with it. I don’t know if Sam ships, except if you order on line. It wasn’t too heavy. Are you saying 56 Pounds in British money??

I think 3.6 is the max they allow…why would that be though? Do you think it would really make a big diff if we got the 4.3 one…

I can assure you it will be a big difference.

Oh, the color was white.

No I meant it might be kinda pricey to have it shipped…The one I saw weighs 56 pounds.

We will have to look at Sams.
