This is a rather esoteric question, but I’m hoping that the inhabitants of this forum might be willing to look this up for the one or two schools that they’re most familiar with. A google search was not overly helpful.

My D is attending school at a conservatory-in-a-university setting and has transferred in. This means she’ll need to attend for 4 years in order to take the sequenced courses in acting (she’s a musical theatre major.) If she can keep her final 2 semesters below a certain credit level, they’ll be much less expensive since she’ll be charged by the credit hour. At her particular school, it looks like Modern Drama is going to be an issue – it’s typically taken in the senior year and only offered at the same time as her required dance classes. If she must take this course during her 4th year, we can’t get her credits low enough to qualify for the huge semester discount.

I’ve looked around at UMass Lowell, UNH, UConn, and schools local to Hartford, CT – all locations where D could conveniently spend a summer. UConn does offer an equivalent course, but not during the summer or online. If you know of a school that offers “Modern Drama” during the summer in NH/MA/CT or a school offering an online course in Modern Drama, please respond! Also welcome would be the names of schools known to be strong in their online offerings.
