Where to go for Investment Banking?

I currently attend SDSU and i’m in the International Business Student. I would love to go to wallstreet and work there ($$$)… where should i go for my masters? And i ivy schools necessary to get a great job?

If you want wall street a top MBA is the bet path. Financial engineering from Columbia, Carnegie MEllon (in NYC), or NYU is also a great path.

Uh, Carnegie Mellon in NYC?

lol, since when?

I know of two of my Ds friends, one an econ major at a top UC and one a similar major at an Ivy. Both are working in Manhattan with UG only- I think it was the connections from the UC internship at a big bank that got one of them in, the other from the Ivy, I do not know detials, but it is possible with UG only, it is all about making connections- think Internship, think banks, think impressing the heck out of them when you do it.

CMU business school has a major campus in NYC.

Hi,

Ivy League school in not necessary, but my help. You can be great on Wall Street or in London without first class degree. Today I made even a short research about this, and you can read it on my blog.
