<p>I’m only a sophomore currently but I want to strive for the best. I have a perfect GPA and am taking all available AP courses. I plan to max out my GPA by the end of high school and I have tons of extracurricular. I heard that college essays are a huge factor in whether you get into Ivy schools or not and some scholarships can guaranteed admission to Ivy schools. I want to learn how to write but I don’t know where to go to for help. I don’t want to learn to write research papers or write essays about novels but specifically I want to learn creative writing and how to write personal statements for college applications and scholarships. Where can I go to for this kind of tutoring? Any online courses or courses I can take in the summer that can teach me this?</p>

<p>Creative writing, in my opinion, is an innate skill, not a taught one. However, you can start by looking up examples of personal statements and thinking about what experiences you would use.</p>
