<p>My son is applying to a school that my father attended, there is not a spot on the application to put any family/school history. The school uses the common app. Would it be appropriate to list my father’s name and date of graduation on the additional info section at the end of the application, or would that appear strange?</p>
<p>Some schools have a section to list legacies on their supplemental form.</p>
<p>But, if that isn’t the case with this one, I think it might be a good idea to put it in the additional info session. Or, if you’re in doubt, call the school and ask them if they want to know about legacies.</p>
